You'll Be Stunned by This Bride's Sheer Minidress the Moment She Walks Down the Aisle

Whenever a bride can pull off a sheer minidress at her wedding, it makes us do a double take. There's something so daring and unconventional about that, which is why we locked eyes on Arden Fanning's Sandra Mansour gown. The beauty editor and Vogue contributor married Cody Andrews in an intimate ceremony in Texas, and wore a dress unlike anything we've seen before.

"I was imagining something that was a mix of the Childlike Empress in The NeverEnding Story, the final scene of Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, and the sheer comedy of The Wedding Singer," she said to Vogue about her dream bridal dress. "My friend Victoria de la Fuente . . . DM-ed me on Instagram one day with images from a cool Lebanese designer Sandra Mansour . . . saying, 'This looks just like you!' All of her pieces were like something out of my own dreams - I got in touch and asked if there was anything white available in her showroom, and Sandra sent me a picture of the perfect dress."

The mini featured a lace pattern on the front, while the neckline and sleeves were completely sheer and billowy. Because the dress was so short, the bride herself sewed on some crystal mesh as an add-on to the designer piece, though you couldn't tell it was a DIY move. As a finishing touch, the bride wore a Sandra Mansour veil that featured tiny organza flowers attached with little pearls. It flowed out behind Arden as she walked down the aisle and looked light as a feather in the sunlight. Read on to see the bride's beautiful wedding dress, and prepare to say, "wow."
