When Kate Middleton stepped out for a visit to Kings College in old favorite maternity separates - her powder blue Sèraphine Natasha coat ($299) and the floral Florrie dress ($109) she's owned since 2015, when she was pregnant with Princess Charlotte - it was her quilted handbag that caught our eye. The clutch was the darkest element of her outfit, while her suede Jimmy Choo pumps, sapphire earrings, and engagement ring glowed bright blue.
Of course, we instantly conjured images of the iconic Chanel 2.55, but Kate's design is actually by Jaeger, a UK-based brand that's decidedly more affordable. (And anyway, Kate already owns one gorgeous Chanel stunner in a burgundy shade with a top handle). Kate's accessory accented her look, and she managed to tuck it away under her arm as she carried an umbrella in the rain. Ahead, you can get a closer look at the satchel and shop a bunch of similar styles that are no brainer must haves for any season of the year.
