14 Women Just Redesigned These Iconic Nikes, and We're Full-On Swooning

Get ready to clear out your closets and crack open those piggy banks because Nike is about to drop a brand-new sneaker line that'll make you swoon. Dubbed The 1 Reimagined, the innovative collection features 10 street-style-ready shoes, all of which were designed by badass women. Can we get a "heck yeah"?

In just four days, 14 female designers from Nike's internal team worked together to completely reimagine two iconic basketball sneakers from the '80s - the Nike Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 1 - by developing five creative iterations of each style. Whereas the original Air Force 1s and Air Jordan 1s were made by men for male athletes, The 1 Reimagined collection incorporates more female-centric features like corset lacing and ruched heels. Oh, and there's even a sneaker with a mule-like silhouette!

The highly anticipated collection will have a limited release at Nike NYC stores on Feb. 7, and the shoes will be available nationally at the SNKRS app on Feb. 9, a Nike rep told POPSUGAR. Ahead, check out the stunning campaign images for The 1 Reimagined, which feature musicians Kelsey Lu and Abra, and be sure to learn more about the 14 rad women behind the project on nike.com.
